they have almost everything including garlic and syrup (no pure)

i wasn't able to find basil but definitely dried oregano...

it is definitely more economical to cook yourself...many of the oceanside restaurants charge the same as you would pay at home & sometimes more.

there are always dominican restaurants which are more affordable places to eat as well.

i think we only ate out 2 times ever and cooked the rest at the room. once we ate at jose oshea's & paid over $50.00 for 2 pasta entrees & 2 presidente's...it was a nice dinner but not worth $50.00. the other time we ate at a dominican restaurant in the center of town across the street from the ocean. food was good & about 10$ including tip for both of us.

if you like to eat out & experience the different restaurants many of them have happy hours or special deals during the week...worth doing some research on that one! many have signs out in front on the main street with menu & price per person for the dinner.
