To these capitalists octopus investors and their prey is that this site is helping and targeting thus resisting, and at time plainly refusing, the usage of the Spanish language.
The government needs to further tax the profits of these Banditos Capitalists’' profits and force them, by law, to reinvest at least 50% of their profits back into the country's economy. Someday we will stop the exploitation of our country's national resources by regulating everything possible including internet site like this. I am sure DR1 is up-to-date with their taxes.

When he used the word "absolved" I believe he was referencing Fidel Castro's "La Historia Me Absolvera." I might be wrong. Anyway this guy Tejada is a schmuck. What is he on about? If this country has an umpteenth amount of problems blame it on Dominicans. No bones about it. Foreign investment has allowed this country to take steps forward. No bones about that. The inclusion of the English language and the wide use of the language on the island has allowed the DR to be more accessible to foreign capital that would have otherwise not looked at this country.
We live in a globalized world. Deal with it.
Before you blame the "gringo" and the foreigner each Dominican should look himself in the mirror before passing the buck, as has become the norm. This isn't about some gringo coming in and setting up shop in the country. It's almost like a deep rooted jealousy. Like when the foreign dude comes into town and takes the girl you've always been after.
As per you assertion that these investors are no good...That lets me know how limited your spectrum really is. Many of the very people you are condemning with you words, which might be DR1 members for example, have businesses here and contribute to the DR in many ways including economically. They set up shop, start businesses, help their communities and with each move they have helped this country move forward. Before you go spewing your ignorance go talk to your buddy Leonel Fernandez or Hipolito Mejia about this country and the way it is.
Furthermore, on a financial level your comment of taxing an extra 50% makes no sense That would basically push business and potential investmnet out of this country. Even businesses that are owned by Dominicans would be hurt tremendously. There's a reason countries like Colombia and Chile have a leg up on the DR in so many ways. This backwards thinking is a reflection of the Dominican mindset: "Let's tax the hell out of them, get as much as we can from them, push them away and in 10 years ask ourselves why there are no businesses here and have our hands out to the international community begging for more loans so that our politicians can steal all the funds."
A real patriot would want the best for his country.
