Unfortunately, none of those questions will ever be answered, unless you know someone high up in the Armed Forces.
Each general will have 5 or 7 members of the armed forces at his beck and call for the rest of his life...sort of like menservants, butlers, chauffeurs, gardeners, cattlemen, whatever the general needs...also a car and driver...plus fuel plus access to certin "stores"....

A good life for sure. Remember, Soto Jimenez, former Minister of the Armed Forces, who never got a paycheck for more than RD$40,000 as a general, signed divorce papers giving his ex-wife RD$150,000 per month, and then had a sumptuous wedding out in Casa de Campo for a few hundred of his closest friends...and then founded his own political party...so he was really poor, I guess....
