I second that. In all the countries I have ever visited, only a few stamp passports on exit. For me, the Dominican Republic, Estonia, and Iceland are the only exit stamps in my passport, and i've visited nearly 30 countries. In the United States, Canada, Mexico, and many others, the procedure is more or less the same. The airline reports your departure to immigration. (Fot the US make sure when you check in the airline takes your I94 form, or I94W if you entered under the visa waiver program. This applies to all foreigners except Canadian citizens)
