In the states its an honor to say that you work for the government, here saying that ....lets put it this way, I rather be a bank robber than say that I work for the government.
government workers are known for only filling their pockets and NOT working for the citizens, some very few exceptions; I say this because I have friends and relatives in the government.

I know TONS of hardworking gov't employees that are completely disgusted with the current situation. They accept the responsibility for getting the job done with the best of their ability, and the situation they have to deal with every day.
In every gov't. office, there are a few long term employees that know what's going on, do all the work, and are not receptive to payoffs to get something done.
