Boston is the city that gave us the big dig
I live 50 miles north of Boston, in Rye, NH, next to Portsmouth, both of which are on NH's short 18-mile coast-line.
The Red Sox are of course New England's team, as are the Patriots, and to some degree the Celtics. The big bad Bruins are all Boston, but their fans are spread out across the globe, including one in Rye.
Maine is about the size of the DR. NH is about the size of Haiti.
