Interesting. Glad you made it alright. I, too, have hit those potholes going east due to the shade. A nice road would be a dream for golfers and sightseers alike.

Can't say I approve of your eating on the street, but then it's your stomach, glad nothing serious happened.

And MOCA not Mocha.

And one more thing, not one Dominican in 1000 can tell you the Route # of any highway in the country.

We use names:
For example, when you came into the city from the airport, you missed the word "Elevado" painted on the roadway...that would have taken you clear across town to Duarte Highway-Santiago. However, that does get complicated at the big FLAG PLAZA when you have to go around and into the mess going to Las Caobas...not for the rookie. Next time, go right at the big archway, go under the highway and up and to the right onto Duarte Hwy.

The Road to Cabarete is called the Jamao Road....

But, hey, you did good, had fun and enjoyed yourself and are certainly to be congratulated for a good report...
