I'm 99% sure that you have to have a regular drivers license to drive motorcycles. The times I've been stopped, I've been asked for it.
There was some talk about making motorcycle drivers get a specific license for riding, but I think it never got off the ground.
The govt should do it; with more than a million motorcycles in the country, it would be a another great source of revenue.
