My iew is that LF agreed to the 'Pact' beause he realised it was going to be a struggle to get 'Re-election' through on the amendments to the Constitution. HOWEVER, I believe he is FAR from wanting to give up the perks of Presidency AND his ability to forward his dream for ................... (fill in your own ideas - Canonisation, Founding Father, deification etc.).
Once this 'Pact' has been ratified by the two main parties & the municipal elections of 2010 have been won by the PLD ........... watch out for a heavy campaign to put Margarita Cedeņo into the public eye & then the 'announcement' of her Presidential aspirations towards the middle of 2011!!!!
Is this country ready for a woman President do you think? The US got close so why can't the DR actually DO IT!! Could it be that PICHARDO's important 'Business Group that determines ALL THINGS' has already made this decision?
