I suspect you do not have children - otherwise when asked if you would give up your child for your ex and his new wife to take him/her away, you would have answered "no" emphatically.
How old is the child - what does she want?
Could you imagine having a child of yours removed to a country where you cannot visit?
As a parent - this feels all wrong.
