An actually serious observation:
Women here face a lot of pressure about their physical appearance. Most will spend more time in a salon than reading books over their lifetime. (Yes, I know there are exceptions. Not many.)
Specifically about breasts, there is a major health-related issue here because many women, not wanting to face any of the natural changes to their breasts that occur as a result of breast-feeding, do not breast-feed or do so for a very short time. Instead, they use powdered milk, sometimes that is not even a baby formula and the babies of poor women do not get adequate nutrition.
There is an insanely high rate of c-sections here too because women do not want other areas of their bodies to be altered by natural child-birth. And I have seem some pretty bad c-section infections.
It's sad how machismo is so dangerous to women's health...
