I love this resort. I hope you'll enjoy it too. I just returned on Sunday.
Keep an eye on the DR1 schedule of entertainment events, particularly those at Altos de Chavon. I saw Julio Iglesias in the amphitheatre there, and there are usually 4 big name shows a year (lots of others too though). In the last 3 months Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias and Andrea Bocelli headlined.
