Internationally, the DOP is not really a traded currency. The dollar goes up and down against the major world currencies, the euro, the yen, the yuan.
Just remember that it is only pictures of dead presidents and the strength of any nation's currency depends on what the world community thinks of the nation... on issues like corruption, freedom of trade, and good records in paying back debts.
