Cigars made in the D.R. must bear the Dominican guarantee of quality seal on the box. This insures you of a 100% Dominican cigar. Although the cigars are made in this country don't expect to find any bargains. Tourist areas ask tourist prices. I suggest checking out a supermarket in Boca Chica (out of the immediate tourist area) for better prices. Your friend may do better in his local cigar shop.
