InteRDom: Internships in the Dominican Republic has become the leading internship and academic study program in the Dominican Republic since it was established in 2005 by Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE).
InteRDom is a competitive program that consists of 60% professional experience with a private, public or non-governmental institution, and 40% academic study at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). As a student in our program, you will combine your internship with courses and seminars specializing in Culture, Spanish as a Foreign Language, and topics relevant to the region. During the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters, you also have the opportunity to enroll in classes with Dominican students at UNIBE that relate to your major and can be transferred to your university of origin.
