Good grief! Undoubtedly, the 767-300 looked beautiful from the outside with the tropical colour scheme. Even inside it was OK, but oh the service!!! H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. First at Las Americas Airport they only had 3 agents checking a 270 pax flight; line was unbearably long. Then the boarding process was chaotic since the good-looking petite agent did not have control of the rowdy crowd.

Upon boarding, it turned out the airplane is wet-leased from Air Atlanta which meant an Icelandic crew that could not even say "gracias". No problem for me, but what about the non-english speaking Dominicans who call Aeromar the new flag carrier??? Adding insult to injury, not only did they not speak English, but they did not even try to communicate with the Spanish speakers. Not to mention the snotty demeanour of the attendants.

All in all the flight was fine, but I was expecting true Dominican service and not a leachy airline that sells itself as "Lineas Aereas Dominicanas" just to give a more-than-gringo Icelandic show. Can't wait for the return flight I guess; I feel like I'm on an Ikea-ish commercial inside that plane!

On another note, the fare was not that low considering AA low-season specials. I don't know guys, AA might still be your best bet to travel to DR until a true Dominicana-Airlines type comes along (but with good service OK, just Dominican good service).

Flights - not flight! - flights to San Juan were cancelled two days after the ticket was bought. No notice was given and we had no knowledge of it until arriving at the airport. Then the creeps at Aeromar started to give the runaround about the refund. These Aeromar bums are contemptible!

Left SDO late, arrived MAD late, we were stranded in Madrid, 300 passengers for 2 days because of a safety problem with a brand new 747. IB home, which is not like Aeromar, is a much better airline.

PUJ MAD reviews of BQ flight

General comments:
22 and a half hours delay. Aeromar eventually subcontracted Spanair, which itself subcontracted the flight to YES, a Portuguese Charter Airline with the most uncomfortable seating and rude service. Never again!!!!

Post VERY GOOD

Aviastar thanks to post,

If you see .

WHO THINKS IT IS AEROMAR FOULD

1- FAA Cat 2
2- Licences
3- SDQ Airport (so i think not only Aeromar also Martinair, Air France and more.

4- Rented Airplanes with ther crew (FAA Cat2)

And why people BOOK AEROMAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

300 PAX to MADRID ( i think more passengers because the aircraft can take up to 500 PAX and with Fisrt Class en Business Class up to 400 PAX

So Aeromar thats was history and now keep walking, Aeromar with new c/s new crew and real dominican crew with give you good service and can talk Spanish and also English

GRS no Ouch because if you see what for problems they are, if you check other airlines HORRIBLE than HORRIBLE

Samana1:

Boeing 747-200 with 500 passenger is not a plane, it is like guaguita ciculing between Duarte and Mella in SDQ. Get back to Earth! 747-200 for 500 passenger, please. What pitch will it be? Or will you board like carro publico does? 4 passenger per 3 seats?

Damn you are so naive, you are far from aviation, what a pity.

Don't make yourself seem foolish here. Why people BOOK AEROMAR, what a question. Anser this: WHY PEOPLE ARE BOOKING FLIGHTS ON AMERICAN?

And as far as I am concrned you should improve your english, that will help to improve service in your low quality airline.
