Accordingly, Viva Airlines, Inc. is officially able to conduct flight operations. Upon commencement of operations, Viva will display the flag of the Dominican Republic.

Robert Scott, President and CEO of Auxer, stated, " We were informed a few weeks back that the presidential approval would be a formality and we have been working our plan accordingly. However, we are pleased that the approval was received in the time frame that was indicated to us".

The airline operational certificate allows Viva the ability to provide passenger and cargo services from Santo Domingo to New York, Miami, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Caracas, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Milan & Madrid".

"In addition to the above markets, we are anxious to make further application to be able to provide service to the Canadian markets".

Mr. Scott stated further, "The plan now is to get our memberships and association applications filed through Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) and International Air Transport Association (IATA). These organizational entities provide and flight ticket clearinghouse activities for the aviation industry. It was necessary for us to have our operational authority certificate before making application. Upon acceptance, we can commence accepting ticket sales".

"We are also making arrangements for the deployment of a L1011 from Tucson, Arizona to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This aircraft which has been subjected to significant flight and aeronautical testing is expected to be transported prior to May 31, 2003".

"We will also be conducting pre-operation conferences for Viva on May 29th & 30th . We expect at the conclusion of these conferences to be able to announce, at a minimum, a tentative schedule of flight services".
