Default TOP AIR will use YAK-40 to fly to Haiti and VEN

Top Air leased one YAK-40, they will use it for flights SDQ PAP SDQ and later they plan to operate flights to Venezuela. YAK-40 has a range of 3 000 KMs, it has 32 seats. Another YAK-40 is coming in 2 months.

Lately this year TOP AIR plans to add YAK-42 with capacity of 120 pax.

YAKs will be operated by pilots from Venezuela.

So, Top Air is the only airline in Dom Rep that uses russian planes.

YAK 40 is not that bad, it consumes a lot of fuel, but this plane is not that horrible.
