Default Air Santo Domingo

... is showing very cheap fares to and from JFK. I'm thinking of buying tickets for November, but am somewhat concerned about giving Air Santo Domingo my money so far in advance since they are so new at flying jets to New York. And what is "Swedline" (the operator of Air Santo Domingo's 757) anyway?

I'm hoping somebody will reassure me that my money will not be lost.

I think Air SDQ is ok, to pay in advance, maybe they are new in the NYC route but they have many years in the business.

I've seen $360 roundtrip, including taxes. That's the lowest I've seen in years.

I'm a little concerned that Air Santo Domingo does not operate as a scheduled charter, though, meaning that they don't have to keep my airfare in escrow.

But, as CC implies, "you pays yous money, you takes yous chances."

Check on:
AEROMAR or AA, they are competing head to head and both have the same fares and more frecuencies. I would put my money on Aeromar.
