Viva International Announces Fina Air Has Obtained FAA Certificate
Monday September 8, 7:01 am ET


FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 2003--Viva International, Inc.(OTCBB:VIVI - News) announced today that its air partner Fina Air, Inc. has obtained its FAA 135 certificate as of September 4, 2003 and accordingly is approved to begin providing air services.
Stuart Carnie, President and CEO of Viva International, Inc. stated, "Although the FAA approval for Fina was expected, it is still an exciting development for Viva and Queen Air, Aeronaves Queen S.A. because we can implement the air operations that we have announced. We are also able to further explore additional plans and scheduling to expand our revenue relationship with Fina. We congratulate the Fina Air team on this achievement and we are excited to be able to begin our working relationship."

Mr. Carnie went on to say, "I have dispatched engineering and technical support personnel to San Juan, Puerto Rico and to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to install the computer hardware for the reservation system. Beta testing will be completed by each of these teams during these trips. I will be monitoring the daily progress of these crews and will soon make further announcement on this project."
