Atlanta to POP

Does anyone have any ideas about the least expensive route from Atlanta to Puerto Plata? From what I've read here, considering flying to Santo Domingo then taking ground transport there. Never been to DR - but so far it looks like the airfare may be pricey. Looking to travel some time this summer, dates flexible. Our group will be from 3-7 people. Still planning.

You might want to try Vacationexpress.com. They are now flying to Puerto Plata using Pace Airlines. At one time air only fare to Punta Cana was $350 plus junk fees.

Thanks - I've really been researching and so far have found I can get from ATL to SDQ for $397 using AirGorilla website for Delta /AA flights. Now if we can get to Puerto Plata and the villa we plan to book from Santa Domingo.... best/quickest/whatever method.

I've flown on American Eagle ATL to MIA then connected to SDQ.

You can fly directly from MIA to POP if that's your goal, I wouldn't fly to SDQ if I didn't have to as youhavea few hours taxi/bus or taxi to POP and a fair bit of money. 7 people is at least 2 taxis.

Just put in ATL as the departure and POP as the destiantion and the datesand it will show you the currently lowest price. Otherwise you should consult both expedia.com and travelocity.com

you can seach with AA atlmia miapop or with other carriers ti mia and them AA.
