JetBlue Vs CO, DL and AA
Flying SDQ NYC JUL1, NYC SDQ JUL 28
Jet Blue: 414 USD
Delta: 424 USD
American: 424 USD
Continental: 424 USD
So, is it so cool to fly Jet Blue's strangest timetable paying the same?

Does anyone know why taxes are over 100 USD for a roundtrip flight to the Dominican Republic ? Flights would not be bad if the taxes were less.

who cares about TVs, by the way, Jet Blue's planes to DR will not be equipped with TVs. So you say that leather seat is too cool when you fly late nigh?

sorry TV does not work for SDQ
Sorry but Directv does not going to work for SDQ and STI service.
Read the press release in Jetblue.com.
CO has individual PTV with 20 channels with diferent movies and games in each seat in coach and first.
AA and DL has the normal inflight TV.
Sorry red eye for the same price. Will not work.

of course, CO's 767 and 777 are equipped with personal tv screens , but for some reasons Jet Blue decided to operate planes with no TVs to DR. So, 10 USD difference, night schedules, it will not be so popular. By the way, Jet Blue is not a low cost carrier as it claims to be, Ryan Air is a real low cost, you can fly from London to Brussels for 10 USD there, but here Jet Blue is gonna be even more expensive than known carriers, night flights are cheaper for carriers, so they have to present cheap flights. This summer 2 new airlines will strike a market, none offers something really attractive to call attention!

The Monopoly has been broken
Thank God American finally has some competition, normally the same flight you have listed in July would be near 500 dollars. We need to have choices so I'm all for it the night flight isn't so bad.

20 usd airport charge is not included in jet blue price, so AA is cheaper.

Jetblue decided not to fly with TVs' as you stated because they are following the law. They offer DirectTV service which is not legal to offer outside of the US, therefore, they cannot offer it going to DR or even PR for that case.
They could equip the planes with movie service that is not DirectTV, but that is not something they have thought of yet.
