Default Jetblue & Santiago

I Recently bought a ticket from jet blue on through their website, its scheduled for june 17, anyways my question is if anybody knows if jetblue is going to fly for sure to DR. Apperantly the us officials have approved them bt the dominicans havent.

JetBlue got aproval from Dominican Gov on 3th of April 2004.

not mentioning any names ( Aeromar) if they sell a ticket they are doing so with the knowledge they are OK to go (and to exist for that matter) as Robert pointed out the green light is on, now to get AA to start combatting on price, I'll fly into LGA and out of JFK if I can save big moolah.

Jet Blue is an American Airkine and Aeromar was Dominican. DIFFERENT RUKES!

Them RUKES that is.

The point being that buying ahead on JB is 9 billion percent safer than the history of failed lowball airlines in the DR, Aeromar being a prime example, or the PanAm myth that never materialized. I am sure the Mexicana/Lan Dominicana passengers got a refund or a ticket on AA or other when they folded their tents in the night. In theory I guess JB could never start in June but I'd bet it is no big risk if they don't.

JetBlue will fly but after some months they will dissapear!! Their firsts international route will be a nightmare!
