US Airways will quit SDQ PHL route in FEB

US Airways will operate SDQ PHL route only once a week from February 2005. Airline will fly daily SDQ FLL effective FEB 6 and will offer connecting service to its destinations from FLL.

It's a shame since that is the airline that I use to get from PA to SD. Oh well!

It sounds like you should still be able to take US Air from Philly, it just won't be a direct flight. Connection in Fort Lauderdale. It will no doubt cost a tad more (additional airport fee if nothing else), but might not be so bad.

I use USAir from Philly too and checked online booking as soon as I saw the post about the change. No need to panic, it looks like Sweetdbt is right. It looks like direct flights have been cancelled, but there are connecting flights from FLL on a regular schedule. There is an additional hour layover in FLL but the fare hasn't changed. To visit the DR, its a small thing.
