Scary. Makes you wonder how they were allowed to continue like this for so long. The major airlines should pressure on them and make them rectify this problem or boycott by not landing their planes there. ( I know, fat chance).

The report was about sub-standard radar systems in certain DR airports.
One of the things mentioned was using only one channel and that if that channel went down, they would be screwed.
I imagine those of you who are pilots, out there, know what that means.
Anyhow, there was a lot of technical mumbo jumbo that amounts to a less than adequate radar system in our international airports.
