POP to Santo Domingo by air

Hi

Can't find an airline that flies from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo. I know there are buses, but aren't there flights as well?

Can you tell me what airlines and/or websites to check it out?

There are no scheduled commercial flights between POP and SD; only charter services. With the bus fare about 7 USD, it's pretty hard to justify paying hundreds for a charter to save a couple of hours.

Thanks for the info. I checked out the sites - don't want to take helicopter and it looks like my best bet is to take the bus.
