Do you mean that they will only use the A300 for the JFK-STI route?

Today, AA announced that it lost a staggering $1.45 Billion in the second quarter of 2008. The press release also states that they will accelerate the retirement of the Airbus A300. 10 will be retired this year, and the rest will exit service by the end of 2009Most likeley, they will be replaced by the 757, at least in the short term.
plans for 2009:
JFK-SDQ 757
MIA-SDQ 757
MIA-POP 737-800
MIA-STI 737-800
MIA-PUJ 737-800
MIA-LRM 737-800

not sure if JFK-PUJ or JFK-STI will stick around.

In March and April 2009 in the route MIA-PUJ-MIA they have flight 2415/1830 at 3:15pm with an Airbus A300
Route JFK-SDQ-JFK flight 1529/1582 at 3:10pm with a Boeing 767-300
Route JFK-STI-JFK flight 833/834 at 12:10pm with Airbus A300

Hey guys look at this... from the end of 2009 no more Airbus A300...

http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...end-of-09.html

Dato del retiro del 7055A sacado de airliners.net
Muchos Saludos

Default Hipo...

AA is retiring their ENTIRE fleet of A306 in the end of 2009, a lot faster than the previous 2012 timeline....Source: American to retire A300 fleet by end of '09

N7055A is already in Victorville VCV (retirement field for airliners) waiting for a new owner (probably a freight company)...... Source: Airliners.net | Airplanes - Aviation - Aircraft- Aircraft Photos & News

SO.......expect AA to start subbing in those sevensixes and sevenfives where they serve with A306 pretty soon.........

I hope the last AA A300 flight is AA833/834.....

These are the CURRENT routes for AA with A306... after September is a whole different picture...

JFK-MBJ
JFK-MIA x 4
JFK-PAP x 2
JFK-PUJ
JFK-SDQ
JFK-SJU x 4
JFK-STI x 2

MIA-BOG x 2
