Estacionamiento General:
Tarifas para larga duración
Primeras 24 hrs - RD$420.00
Día adicional - RD$300.00

Pérdida de ticket - RD$420.00
Remolques - RD$750.00
Rotura Barra - RD$2,000.00


what does remolques and rotura barra means?
so if I claim I lost the ticket, I only pay 420 pesos? even if I have parked there for 5 days?
If they write down the license plate everyday, can I change my license plate and drive out, claming I have ben there only for 4 hours?

Remolques means that if they tow your car from any spot around the parking area (non approved or parked in a prohibited area) they will charge you that amount. It went up big time it used to be 500.

Rotura barra means that if you hit the pole that lifts automatically when you go out of the parking area they will charge you that amount. It happens...

at SDQ is now in the hands of a Mexican consortium, whom I understand run other lots at other airports. That is to say they are somewhat experienced at this business.

I believe you will find that the lost ticket charge of 420 pesos is just that...another charge. Then you will have to convince them of how long you have been parked there....and since you are in long term parking...well I wish you good luck. But should you get lucky, the minimum charge will be for one days parking plus the 420 pesos lost ticket charge.

I used to take long vacations to the "Islands" and park at Miami International for days.

I found it well worth while to walk around on a few of the parking levels on our return.
Many times we would find a lost ticket and pay just for an hour or 2.

Oh well, I flew out of sti (santiago) instead, left the car at home and took a cheap cab both ways (350 pesos + 50 pesos tip = 400/each way).
