Any news on dirct flights to Venezuela

Dear all,

Sometime back there were discussions about Air Dominicana flying charter directly to Caracas - any update on if that is still taking place, and how to get a ticket?

Are there any other airlines that fly directly (or maybe through Curacao, Bonaire etc. as stopover) to get to Venezuela/Caracas - either charter or scheduled? - if charter flights please also indicate how/where to get a ticket/booking office.

Flying with AA or Copa via Miami or Panama is both very expensive and lenghty flights.

Hello There
as far as I know..The Air Domincana flight is not very regular making it hard to comment on it
Currently The only Airline that I know that offers regular Direct service is
Aserca Airlines Flies from Santo Domingo & Punta Cana To Caracas sometimes Via Aruba or Curacao
For some reason they dont allow you to book Online so One Time I reserved Via their international reservation Line located in Venezuela +58 212 9533004 and Picked them up at Punta Cana Airport and The Other time we just went directly to The Airport to buy them.The total price both time was $487 usd with all taxes included (except Venezuela Departure tax)
Their Office in Santo Domingo is located

Calle Gustavo Mejía Ricart, Nro.93,
entre Lincoln y Winston Churchill,
Plaza Piantini, piso 2, local 201,

Im sure some Travel agencies aswell sell tickets for them

I believe Aeropostal also offers direct service but on charter basis and I wouldnt know how to book that

Yes I Believe they Do..but their one way tickets were only $20 Than their Return Tickets...so we just went ahead and bought return.
FYI the Airline wont let you board your flight with a Oneway Ticket Unless Youre a Citizen or Resident of Venezuela or Can provide proof on onward Travel to any other country outside of Venezuela.So if You dont meet that criteria I would Highly suggest you just buy the Return and just not use the second portion of your ticket

Excellent, the cheapest I've seen; much better than via Miami or Panama.
