Santo Domingo to Punta Cana Flights

Hi All,
I assume there are flights between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana but have not been able to find any information on the usual travel sites/google.

The usual US travel sites try to send me through San Juan :-)

Can someone point me to a web site where I could find flight information or even book my flight.

I do not believe that there is regularly scheduled service between SDQ (Santo Domingo) and PUJ (Punta Cana), although there could be some charter carriers willing to make the trip.

Seems the intra island carriers have been adversely affected by the current economic downturn.

Perhaps our frequent aviation forum posters can add more information and/or correct mine.

They're very limited on when they fly, but there are a few airlines that do it on a scheduled basis. Maybe only one given what I just found...

There are occasionally ads in the papers here, but nothing I've seen recently, and tend to target Dominicans popping over to PC, rather than the other way about.

Sorry yes, nobody flys to SDQ, its all the La Isabella to the north of Santo Domingo. To be fair, if your destination is Santo Domingo, you're a good 20miles closer going there!!
