Default I'm confused

Granted, I have to use an online translator, but why is the Dominican Aviation website homepage about Soviet Fulcrums that Cuba "needed" as a result of the Bay of Pigs, though the planes weren't available until mid 80's? I believe during the early 60's Cuba was flying left over USAF B 26's, P 47's and maybe a few early jets

Help, I'm confused

If I misunderstood this post, delete me
