This is absolutely true - I live in South Jersey and hate the drive to EWR or JFK. Last 2 times I flew American out of Philly, connected in San Juan, never again. We already booked American out of JFK for late December, wish I'd known about US Air, what great news!!

We tried PHL thru PR to El Catey...... ONCE (its now cancelled)
BEAUTIFUL on the way in..... smooth, 1 hour in PR, cerveza and picturesque to the new airport in Samana.

For the return, we arrived on time.... dismissed the car and were told the flight to PR was cancelled for mechanical reasons.
BS.... all PR filghts were cancelled that day (midweek) .. not enough passengers.

One fast, low flying taxi trip to POP - w/ a cerveza stop - at AA's expense and we were in Miami. Plane change to PHL.............. never again

You should look at Continental from EWR..... if you go to JFK, try JetBlue.
