Question DR to Guatemala

Dear all,

I need information on the cheapest way to get to Guatemala from the Dominican Republic (SDQ, POP, Punta Cana etc.), or the vicinity. Alternatively, the near vicinity airports (Honduras, Mexico) might be an option, if they come comparatively cheaper.

Any info and suggestions appreciated.

Two options:
Dominican Repulic to Miami, then Miami to Guatemala
Or
COPA to Panama and then Panama to Guatemala.

That it.

One more option, SDQ > SJO > GUA. I've done SDQ > SJO a couple of times recently, no problems whatsoever.

I have flown both Taca and Copa to Guatemala and you really should try the ham and true guerye cheese sandwhich for the brief lay over.

Best Airport Sandwhich Ever!

Many thanks for info, most useful.

I assume that the ham and cheese sandwich mentioned by Mike is in San Jose airport ? - shall certainly have it in mind and file a gastronomical trip report upon return.
