Marathons in DR?

I want to get into running / walking outdoor, I do a lot of cardio at the gym but I would love to try walking / running in SHORT –of course- marathons . I don’t like to just go in the street and run or walk by myself

Does anyone know if they have this kind of activity either in Santo Domingo, San pedro, Juan Dolio or La Romana? or maybe groups who do a safe route in any of those cities??

There is a running club here.... I was just reading about it on the board weeks ago... running and drinking were their things... it's a part of a worldwide organization.... The name will come to me when I cannot post it... but have hope! What you want does exist!

Not really.... You wanted to know about groups that run.... they run..... unless you can't control your drinking habits... you don't have to follow the leader on that one.
