Best restaurant in Santo Domingo

My top two would be

1. Fellini

2. Peperoni

My criteria are food, service, and ambience. If you add value pricing to the criteria they would not make the top 20.

Out of curiousity, where are these restaurants and why are they so good? Please and thanks.

Location: Juan Dolio
Reason why?: Great location and unique layout, excellent food (try "delicioso roll") and service. Owner always on top of things...great guy....the only down is we spend USD130 in: 2 beers, 4 daiquiris, 1 pina colada, 2 cokes, 2 delicioso rolls and a special dish with different kinds of cebiches...just for the 2 of us...
