as if using the bag over his hand made any different health wise...being that there are a thousand flies and the meat sits outside in the heat all day and into the next, and all the road dust...ha ha ha ha
what is the magic in the DR that meat can sit in the 90 degree heat for three days and it is OK but in america it cant sit more than an hour on the counter in the kitchen before the wife says...NO YOU GOT TO THROW THAT AWAY NOW!!

There is no magic.
Normal human beings will get sick if not die.
I stopped once, just once.
By the time we got to Santo Domingo, I was barfing, so was my girlfriend, and the dog had it going on at both ends.
I'd rather take a bullet than eat at one of those places again.

He was a fine ol' chap, and posed happily. I asked first and he said no problema.
He was ****ed at the fat lady behind him-who wasn't singing, and who seems to partake of the better cuts of meat and leaves the rest for us poor unsuspecting customers.

Yes, matter of fact it was the 2nd thing I had when I went back there. What I actually had a sliced pork sandwich with a dill pickle, but I do remember seeing pulled pork there. they have baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, sweet potato pies, peach cobbler, chocolate cake all home made, it was really a different experience to eat food that is is hard to get in these parts, not to mention the high quality of the food. check it out, anyone in Boca Chica knows the location of the Boat House so just ask, sorry but I do not have any pics.

Don't mess with those places swarming with members of the Italian Air Force (flies). you will for sure be painting the toilet for hours, sadly.

Bah, you guys aren't used to it, I eat chimi (pierna, Hamburger) almost every night and nothing happens, but we Dominicans usually joke about foreigners eating chimi, as soon as the tourist eats a Chimi or Fritura you have to look for a pamper for him/her, maybe that joke is derogatory and discriminating but is is also funny because it is true. I think is a matter of the organism getting used to it.
