When I go back for the Christmas Holiday's I'll be stopping by for more ribs.

P.S. - Marco sorry I missed you. I met Ted. Pretty cool guy.

Nope. Get the unlisted super-secret super-sized order of 12. Maybe you can take a few home with ya.

Default Planner..miss the DR

Havent been at this site in quite awhile. Much has happened since my last visit to the DR which was in August of 2005! I am planning a trip in the next several months though..maybe October, not sure. Anyway, is the invite to Rocky's still open?

Can Miss Management give her seal of approval? I had the ribs yesterday - excellent. This was during a nostalgic & gossipy reunion with two women who used to be long time residents here many moons ago. Even Rocky found it hard to get a word in edgeways . We didn't notice the wait because we were too busy reminiscing...........and in any event we're all Dominicanised even though one woman now lives in Canada & the other in Oman.

I was the highest bidder on the 2 platters of ribs donated by Rocky at the Dominican Fiesta. I hope to be there in late November to finally taste these world famous ribs.

I happen to know you can't eat both of those yourself so I will HAVE to volunteer to help you out......

Wouldn't have it any other way. However, you might have to fight off Wayne for a few. Rocky's in November it is then.

Default What?????

I've been a lurker around here for awhile and I have to say I'm a bit confused. I'm down in Sosua on business several times a month and I've been to Rocky's many times and my take is nothing like what those on the board are reporting. My opinion is that the place is a dump. Really, seriously, the place is a dump so where does everyone get the special feeling about the place? Brittania is clean and friendly and usually has people hanging around so you don't feel like you're sitting in a dank cave waiting on your food. I guess if you like your bars and restuarants infested with putas and mice then Rockys is the place for you.

Make of it what you want, but....

Yarddog seems to have multiple personalities using jackieboo and Yarddog sharing the same computer. So I would take the above comment with a pinch of salt.

I left it up, so people can see how stupid they look when they register under different usernames and post BS.

Ahhhh... the life as a sock-puppet!
