I usually visit Santo Domingo.

For me, there are several places to meet nice Dominican ladies.

  • Acropolis Mall
  • Bella Vista Mall
  • College campuses (Especially PUCMM which is located next to Plaza Universitaria on Sarasota Ave.)
  • Hard Rock Cafe (On a Friday or weekend but it gets very crowded)
  • In the airplane (Especially during the summer months. Many cute college students visit their family and friends in the States)
  • Metro bus (Santiago to Santo Domingo route or vice versa)
  • McDonalds (One on Maximo Gomez and the other on Sarasota Ave.)


I know these are not online. But these are good locations to meet very nice Dominican women (in Santo Domingo).

I must agree wholeheartedly with Potato_Salad. There is no bigger or better dating service than what he described.

If you attempt to chat them up online, you will not get much of a response.

These dominican chicas really aren't into the whole talking on the internet stuff.

They just use it to get off on how many hits their page gets and how many "friends" they have. Doing it live and in the flesh is the ONLY way to go.

It is different if you talk to chicas from other countries, say Mexico City and Colombia. You will get a different type of response from these chicas for some reason. A more educated and varied response.

DR chicas really don't seem to want to get into conversations about anything, or maybe they just are not interested. You will get a lot of one word responses from them.

Also, check out who their "friends" are. If they have a lot of dom-york looking dominican guys making stupid and vulgar comments about how sexy and beautiful they are, don't even bother.

Do it live and in person. You will get a better response, and an immediate one too!!!! Just follow the lead of Potato_Salad, he provided the only blueprint you will ever need in Santo Domingo.

But he forgot one thing-if you're a night owl don't forget the bus stop on Calle Independencia behind the Jaragua Hotel right after the casinos close. This is where you will see the female employees after work. Its' like shooting fish in a barrel.

Jaragua Casino
Berzin is correct--For those of you who are late owls, after 11pm, there are many female employees from the casino at the Jaragua Hotel/Casino who wait for the bus to go home. This bus stop is located on Independencia Ave. (right across the street from Manolo Cafeteria and Raizor Hotel).

The casino dealers and bartenders (from the Jaragua Casino) finish work at both 11pm and 7am. At around 8ish and 10ish pm, they serve a free plate of food for everyone--rice, fried chicken, maccaroni, and salad.



Napolitano Hotel/Casino
The casino at the Napolitano Hotel/Casino is now under construction. The employees from this casino are now working at the Embajadaor Hotel/Casino.




Atlantis Casino/Intercontinental Hotel
The dealers and bartenders from the Atlantis Casino (Intercontinental Hotel) finish work at 3am.




Majestic Casino/Hilton Hotel
The dealers and bartenders from the Majestic (Hilton Hotel) finish work at 11pm and 5am. This casino makes very good Pina Coladas.

This is a little bit off topic, but for those of you who are serious gamblers, I recommend that you go to the VIP room at the Majestic (Hilton Hotel). It is very quiet and clean.

Their Roulette table is a minimum of $5 USD (or 100 pesos) and $100 USD (or 5,000 pesos) Maximum.

Their Blackjack table is $50 USD (or 2,000 pesos) minimum and $400 USD (or 15,000 pesos) Maximum.

I like to use online as well as in person to meet women. I like online because it gives me a chance to practice Spanish and get her all warmed up so by the time I get there she knows what time it is.

I only contact them like 2 weeks before I arrive, this limits the "bring me this" or "this one is sick" stories.

But really there is nothing better than meeting in person, to see that initial attraction and the way she reacts to you. I started meeting girls outside of the barrios and tourist areas and boy its just a huge difference, in class and language.

Also another good way to meet girls is to be recommended a girl by a local. Once you get that seal of approval, its all yours.

My nomination would be myspace. I can't stand it at home, but its a gold mine for DR because it weeds out all the uneducated, illiterate girls. The more trips I make, the less tolerant I am of the barrio mentality.

I say that because most of the girls speak english and you have to know how to read and write in order to make a page. All the barrio putas don't enough money to pay for the time it takes to make a page at the centro de internet.

Obviously I am not looking for a Dominican woman...
(I am a woman)..lol
But...what about facebook? How do you find that? (or do you use it?)
I'm just interested in knowing how often Dominicans use facebook as opposed to myspace...
Here in Canada, myspace used to be the more popular one, but I believe it's now turned to facebook over myspace...

I see Berzin and Potato know what time it is. I love that immediate feedback that only in person can provide. I like to rent a car and just pull up right by the stop, and just begin with my openings.

Its hard not to pickup multiple women.

I spammed facebook the other night (the dominican network) and the only responses I got were from Haitians.

I think it has potential, but I dont think that people log on as much to facebook.

You can always add me as a friend, I like Canadians.
