White sand beaches are few.
IMHO, other things than the colour of sand can be very important here...

There are sooo many....Playa Grande, Playa Diamante, Playa Rincón, Playa del Valle.....

Bahia De Las Aguilas. The boat ride alone to get to it is stunning.

Default Playa Palenque

I personally favor Playa Palenque/Playa Cocolandia in San Cristobal, west of Santo Domingo. It's quiet, few tourists, nice views. Two gated developements are coming in there, and a couple of new hotels on the beach are planned (one a spa by Italians, one by Dominicans) - I don't know what it change, hopefully not too much.

? About 30 mins from NAGUA to wards caberera when it is ??? hot in the sea, go in the river to cool down
you also see the children jumping off the bridge
a nice quite beach also sell fish there
