International companies in DR

Hello,

Can you give me the names of some international companies (especially Canadian) established in DR? I've been looking all over the internet and can't find this info.

I'm planning to move to DR next year and would like to send them my CV.

Two canadian firms that come to mind are Falconbridge (Mining) and Scotia Bank (formerly Bank of Nova Scotia)

woud like to no if there is a office depot store DR

NO, ther is no Office Depot or Office Max store in the D.R., but I think the market is ripe for these type of companies to enter, especially know that tariff rates (import taxes) will go down substantially !

Other franchises are entering, not only from the U.S. but from France and Spain !

Received an email from someone who informs me that Home Depot and Wal-Mart will be opening stores in DR during 2001
