Solar Legislation

Can you tell me if their are any bills pending in favor of Solar energy In congress. Also does Solar now come under the new 12% ITBI.

The "Ley General de Electricidad" has been in Congress for many years (5-6) and it favors Solar Energy. You night want to talk to its Senators-authors:

Regarding the new ITBIS, the new Law (Article 344 - section 4) states that electricity services as well as water services are exempt from paying the ITBIS Tax.
