Import tariffs

Read in DR1 news Jan. 9 that new import tariffs do not go into effect until 6 months after law becomes effective. Is that report correct?

I just saw the Director of Customs in TV say they are already reducing the tariffs. Obviously there is some confusion, because I also read in another paper that it would go into effect in six months, but I don't see in the Law where it says so.
