Mainer may need one if she decides to move to the DR.
Knowing where one is (especially one fluent in English) may help determine where Mainer lands.......
Me ,I'm just interested. Seems that when anyone wants or needs something I'm supposed to be the font of all wisdom (it's a TOUGH job! Comes from having spent too many years working as a "problem solver" specialist!). So......I may be good for a few referrals once the therapist is situated!
Edited to add: THERE'S ALWAYS A NEED! The problem the world over is first finding a speech pathologist. Second hoping they have room to fit you in to their lengthy list of clients. Third, hoping that you can afford the cost of their services.
Yes....at one time I needed one for a handicapped child and no none were available so I took a crash course, bought a Peabody kit (speach therapist tool kit) and became my own "expert". I sympathize with anyone looking for a therapist!!!
