can someone tell me if there is such a thing as a postal code or contry code for DR for instant Sosua ...

The postal office was working on it, but at present it is not being used.

No, there is no country or zone code for the DR at present. Also, you will find a number of messages in the archives strongly recommending against sending any thing to the Dominican Republic by regular mail. The only sure method is to use one of the courier services.

Obviously you must be more specific. You can't be asking for the location of every post office in the country. What city are you speaking about? If you indicate that someone should be able to tell you where the PO is.

There is a post office in San Francisco de Macoris. I have been in it. Ask someone there for the location of the el correo.
