Post Recourse

Posted by PIB, Quote: "I think that for the next installment I should write about all the steps that can be taken if you and Customs don't agree on the ammount to pay".

Excellent idea PIB, all that most people can do is bellyache about being ripped off. It would be great to know what recourse may be taken to find a solution when one butts head with Customs. I'm sure you can come up with a recipe. Regards, PJT

Pib,

Since you cannot list names on the Forum, can I contact you when I arrive into DR in two weeks to discuss my move? and a few things I need to ship into DR within the next month?

If I understand, you are a Custom Bronker? am I correct? Have you been doing this a long time? Do you have good connections and know the system well?

How can I reach you when I arrive to Santo Domingo?

Thanks...

If you sell the H1, that should cover the duties you "could" pay on the Boxster. I strongly recommended you talk to someone like "Pib" about the pro's and cons of doing what your thinking.

Also add into the mix that you will be flying in service people from Miami to look after your cars and maybe your boat.

When they roll out of the container, you will be the most popular man on the dock, it will be just like Christmas bonus all over again!

I hope all goes well, I have never driven a Boxster

Default export to the Dominican Republic

to Pib.
Hello,

we are a Belgian trading company looking for business partners in the Dominican Republic. We are the sole retailers of the exquisite Belgian chocolates GUYLIAN for the Dominican Republic.
For that matter we are looking for importers and distributors(can
eventually be the same company). Are also looking for someone
who can take care of our Dominican branche which already exists
under the name of "P-Consult Carnes Y Embutidos S.A." and which
is situated in Santo Domingo.
Within a few weeks we come over to the Dominican Republic to
put things on the move and to meet all the people eventually interested in the business. Should You be interested in being our
working representatif in the D.R. please let us know.
Herunder our coordinates.

please feel free to write or speak Dutch, French, English, German or Spanish because I write and speak these languages fluently.

Yo soy casado con una Dominicana que se llama Lucia Martinez.
hasta luego
Ponjaert, Jean Pierre
General Manager - Owner.
