Talking Coffee

G'day
I am trying to find a supplies fo coffee beans to Calgary, Canada. I visited in Jan 2002, an dfell in love with your coffee. I did bring back several bags but quickly ran out. I have searched in Calgary but have not found any yet. We stayed at the Casa Marina Beach Resort in Sosua and bought several bags of Santiago Coffee in a white bag.

Please let me know if anyone can help me.

Cheers

Rob, feel free to delete my post if it violates any of DR1's rules.

Canuk, I would have emailed you, but I can't. Check the link on the home page of www.dominicancooking.com

There are several suppliers to markets.
1) How much do you want.?? this is the basis for all negotiations
2) How are we going to ship it?
3)roasted beans lose their flavor over time, and ground coffee loses it even faster. There are alternatives besides hiring a Dominican Campesina to go to your house and toast coffee over an open fire on a steel plate!!
4) Get in touch and we can talk..

Default Pib,

I went thru your link and finally got some dominican coffee! Ordered five pounds of beans last Thursday and Sunday morning I was drinking Dominican coffee. Can't get much better than that.
Except for the Presidente I had Sunday afternoon. Now all I need is a "mata de coco" and a warm beach to lay on. Thanks.
