Default Starting affiliate in DR

Would like to know whether it is difficult to open an affiliate of a dutch registered company,without being a resident of the country.
In other words it would just be a branchoffice of the dutch company.

You would just have to go through the normal registration process...Lots of paperwork, a little lawyer, and some money...

I agree with HB, but it will help if you get a General or two on board. They always seem to be able to get to the front of the line, quickly.
