Default As of today Kohler says that it has NOT closed the deal

Apparently Mr. Kohler has hot closed the deal. His comments are very hard, but that is his negotiating manner. That course is beautiful, better tnam many the PGA plays on.

However, big money, and big investments could make it even better. So I don't get to play there much more. Okay, I can live with that. For a better highway, more hotels and perhaps even a PGA or LPGA date here on the island? Of course... and Kohler could do that.

Conchman, that's exactly my point. Pick an area that caters to Americans (Cancun, Bermuda, Jamaica- been to these and many more) and watch the cost of any activity rise. Now, take the Donald Trump of fixtures, a person who doesn't settle for second best, and stick him in a place generally regarded as an economical travel destination. Rates WILL rise, PD will still be less expensive to play than PG, but will become an $80 "second tier" course. Not really sure about Los Aromas as this lies away from the tourist areas, but I'd be willing to bet rates would double or triple for those of us who play there on vacation. If you don't agree with this than you either haven't been to many other islands or you don't golf. Anyone who does understands where I"m coming from.
