For Haitian art, contact Franck Becka at Elin Gift Shop in Santo Domingo. It is located at Arz. Meriño 203 near the corner with El Conde. Tel 688-7100. He is working with many Haitian painters and wholesales and retails. He sells some of the stuff you find in tourist shops, but he also sells better quality paintings as well. We have about 6 paintings we bought from him in our condo.
