Of course they are doing it - there are several dental supply stores in Sto Dgo, 2 or 3 close to the UASD . What do you expect , when dentistry is one of the only 7 majors offered in Dominican Universities? (don't worry, but it seems to me that almost all universities here offer only various forms of engineering, education, medicine, dentistry, accounting, marketing and public relations)
They are turning out a ton of dentists every year here. The prices of equipment are a bit high, which I attributed to Customs, but they seem to offer all of the things a dentist would need.
